Tony Stinar - Owner, CFO & Business Advisor

Tony Stinar is the founder of Highline Financial. Tony is a finance professional with nearly 20 years of finance & accounting experience. He has worked with a number of companies in a variety of industries, including SaaS, retail services, venture capital, fintech and public accounting.

Most recently, Tony served as CFO at Lunr and NewBound Ventures. Prior to that, he spent 8 years as the CFO of The Bluebird Group. Collaborating closely with the founder, Tony crafted a comprehensive business plan and established a robust financial structure to lay the foundation for success for Bluebird. From day one, he assumed the responsibility of overseeing all financial operations, human resources, and back-office functions. With dedication and strategic decision-making, Tony steered the organization's growth, leading it to flourish into a thriving entity with over 80 talented employees and significant revenue growth. During his tenure, the company achieved a significant milestone by orchestrating a successful outside Private Equity investment.

Prior to Bluebird, Tony led the Business Valuation Team at Olsen Thielen & Co., Ltd., where his expertise in business, equity and asset valuations played a pivotal role in facilitating tax and financial reporting, litigation, M&A and strategic planning processes.

Other past roles include Controller at GovDelivery, Inc., a high-growth software company as well as over 7 years as a financial statement auditor in public accounting.

Throughout Tony’s professional journey, he has consistently demonstrated a strong passion for finance and accounting, coupled with a commitment to excellence and integrity. By leveraging his expertise and leadership skills, Tony has played a significant role in driving financial growth, fostering operational efficiency and delivering exceptional results for the organizations he has been privileged to serve.

Now, as he embarks on the Highline adventure, Tony is eager to bring his extensive experience and expertise to new & diverse challenges, where he can continue making a lasting impact and contribute to the success of your organization.

Tony lives in the western suburbs of the Minneapolis metro area with his wife and two teenage boys. Family time is incredibly important to him. You’ll likely find them all together at the baseball or football field, the basketball court, on the lake or visiting the Rocky Mountains.
